THE SIMPLICITY DIFFERENCE
Chances are you’ve never staged a home. When you last sold a home, no one staged. Buyers simply used their imaginations. Today, the average buyer stays in a home less than five years so they aren’t looking to invest money into it as homeowners did over time. Buyers are looking for the home that has the most updates and is move-in ready.
You’re now looking around your home at a lifetime of memories, overwhelmed and exhausted. If only this could me made simple. It can.
When you choose SIMPLICITY, we eliminate the burden by acting as your project manager and your designer. We transform homes into spaces that speak to the widest market market, highlighting its best architectural details. We give you the absolute best opportunity to sell your home faster.
SIMPLICITY started in 2006, as SIMPLICITY HOME STAGING & DESIGN, when staging in New Jersey was relatively new. It grew into a unique partnership in 2010 when SIMPLICITY HOME STAGING & DESIGN joined forces with a Philadelphia based home improvement and design firm HOME DETAILS. What resulted was a perfect synergy of male and female perspective and skills, true designing for the sexes by opposing sexes. The he said/she said design duo was quickly picked up by HGTV as on-air designers for season 5 of Real Estate Intervention. HGTV wanted to try something different which took staging to the extreme. In each home, SIMPLICITY, along with Wes Coventry of Coventry Woodworking, were asked to stage three rooms in three days and one of those rooms had to be an extreme renovation -all on an extremely low budget. What resulted was updated kitchens, custom built-ins, custom molding, plenty of paint, detailed staging, and of course walls came down (in typical HGTV fashion). While some of these elements are more suited to television, taking staging to an extreme became a trademark for SIMPLICITY. The term staging no longer seemed appropriate as more stagers arrived on the scene only considering minimal furnishings for a home. SIMPLICITY wouldn't do anything that wasn't critical to the sale of the home, this included overly minimal staging that would not help the home sell faster. SIMPLICITY became an important team member for Realtors and builders who needed help with more than simple staging but hardscape selections, paint, and inexpensive creative solutions to seeminly unsellable properties. SIMPLICITY didn't simply provide detailed staging services. This was design for real estate. In 2015, the company was reborn as SIMPLICITY DESIGN SERVICES (SIMPLICITY).
